Larry Rowe Law is a solo practice that provides legal services and counsel on a broad range of real estate matters. Mr. Rowe's experience includes representing clients in many areas of commercial and residential real estate, including the representation of developers in the zoning and permitting of commercial, residential and institutional projects, institutional lenders making acquisition, construction and permanent loans, investment firms making, and property owners obtaining, mortgage loans included in rated securitized conduit pools, a real estate advisor in the forward-sale acquisitions of residential communities, landlords and tenants in office, retail, and industrial lease transactions, corporations in sale-leaseback/bond lease and real estate synthetic lease transactions, as well as state housing and community development and economic development agencies making acquisition and construction loans to developers of affordable housing, and community development organizations developing affordable housing projects.
Representative Experience
Mr. Rowe provides specialized legal services for clients, with a focus on effective and responsive client communication. Building on Mr. Rowe's previous experience as a real estate investment and leasing professional and the transactional nature of Mr. Rowe's practice, he is an accomplished problem solving, business orientated attorney.
Before establishing Larry Rowe Law in 2003, Mr. Rowe was Junior Partner in the Real Estate Practice Group at Hale and Dorr LLP (now WilmerHale) and an Associate at Stroock & Stroock & Lavan LLP. Before law school, Mr. Rowe worked in various real estate capacities, including as a Project Manager at Evergreen Realty Management, Inc., a Boston area real estate investment and development company, and as an Investment Associate and commercial Leasing Broker at Jones Lang Wootton USA (now Jones Lang LaSalle), an international financial and professional real estate services firm.
Mr. Rowe is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association and Boston Bar Association. He served on the Boards of Trustees of the John Winthrop School, an independent Boston neighborhood pre-school, and of Hill House, a Boston neighborhood community center providing youth and adult programs and outreach activities.
Mr. Rowe received a JD, cum laude, from Suffolk University Law School, where he served on the Suffolk Transnational Law Review, a Diploma in Real Estate Investment and Analysis from New York University, and a BSBA from the University of Denver.
